Hailing from the southern end the Rocky Mountains, Shaggy Peak Social Club formed when long-time Santa Fe bandmates were joined by a couple local musicians, to launch a new band identity.

Shaggy Peak Social Cub brings together an American Roots mix of country, bluegrass, old-time and a dash of Cajun spice; playing vintage tunes as well as original songs.

As the name implies, the group has unwittingly become a social club of sorts, enjoying musical possibilities, endless trivia, witty repartee, and joy they bring to each other's lives.

At 8717 feet above sea level, Shaggy Peak is the southern most named peak of the Rocky Mountain chain.​
